Logitech has unveiled two new wireless trackballs: the “Logitech ERGO M575SP” and the “Logitech MX Ergo S.” Both models are equipped with noise-reducing click buttons, which lower input noise by 80% compared to earlier versions. These trackballs are updated versions of the previous “M575” and “MX ERGO” models, now featuring quieter click buttons that significantly cut down on operational noise.
The new trackballs also support Bluetooth and Logitech’s proprietary Logi Bolt technology, which lets you connect multiple compatible devices using a single receiver. They are compatible with “Logi Options+,” allowing users to assign multiple macros to a single button through Smart Actions.
Logitech ERGO M575SP
The Logitech ERGO M575SP is designed with an ergonomic shape that reduces forearm muscle strain by 25%. It comes equipped with an advanced optical sensor that offers a maximum resolution of 2,000 dpi and includes five buttons. The trackball is powered by a single AA battery, providing up to 18 months of battery life. Its dimensions are 100mm in width, 134mm in length, and 48mm in height, with a weight of 145g. The M575SP is available in Graphite, Off-White, and a new Black color. The Logitech ERGO M575SP will be available starting September 19, 2024, with a price of around $58.
Logitech MX Ergo S
The Logitech MX Ergo S is a premium trackball designed to lessen forearm muscle strain by 27% with its ergonomic design. It features an advanced optical sensor with a maximum resolution of 2,000 dpi and includes eight buttons. The device has a built-in battery that supports fast charging, offering up to 120 days of use on a full charge. It also comes equipped with a USB Type-C charging connector. The dimensions of the MX Ergo S are 100mm in width, 133mm in length, and 51mm in height, with a weight of 259g. This model is available in Graphite. The Logitech MX Ergo S will be available from September 24, 2024, priced at approximately $134.
