The Lenovo Legion Go has established itself as one of the top three gaming handhelds, alongside the Steam Deck and Asus ROG Ally. However, unlike its main competitors, it lacked official accessory support. But that’s about to change at this year’s IFA conference in September.
Although the Lenovo Legion Go is one of the top handheld gaming PCs, it doesn’t have the same level of accessory support as its competitors. While third-party options are available for docks, carry cases, and screen protectors, Lenovo now appears ready to launch its own line of accessories.
This rumor originates from VideoCardz, which reports having information about the accessories ahead of the IFA event. One of the highlights is a Nintendo Switch-style controller grip that transforms the detachable controllers into a more traditional gamepad. Unlike Nintendo’s version, however, this grip will also charge the Legion Go’s controllers with a built-in 2,850 mAh battery.
Another upcoming accessory for the controllers is thumbstick covers, known as Legion Go Pro caps. These are said to be available in four different colors and designs. However, it’s unclear whether all the caps will be included in a single package or if they will need to be bought separately based on color or design.
A Legion Go hard carry case and a mini wireless keyboard are also being showcased. Additionally, a Legion Go dock is being revealed, although it has already been partially featured on the Lenovo website, but is not yet available for purchase. Details on pricing or availability for any of these accessories have not been disclosed yet.
